  Today, I was made to sit in pain after a bike accident for over an hour. Other patients who came in after me were attended to first and when it was my turn again, there was an “inspection” and the doctor I requested to see couldn’t see me after waiting for over an hour in pain. I could have been advised that she could not see me initially.

  Dr. Misha Kruck came recommended by a local business owner after my partner injured her ankle. Dr. Kruck was knowledgable about treatment and showed genuine concern about her well-being. Unfortantely when it came time to pay the bill that Dr Kruck personally created, the crutches and orthopedic boot were over 5x the retail cost. Once I showed them the actual price tag on the bag of crutches they just gave us, the doctor threw quite a tantrum, telling us to go somewhere else if we weren’t happy with the prices they charge. A business needs to make some profit somewhere, but this was unethical price gouging and taking advantage of visitors to the country—a common practice in Maun. They ultimately lowered the price of the crutches but kept the price of the boot because there was no price tag present on the item. I asked a local later who had to buy the same ortho-boot and she said she paid a third of what we did… Beware if you’re a traveller on a budget.

  This place has an amazing customer service the staff is very friendly and very helpful I would recommend this place is wonderful
