::Maun Lodge was beautiful, especially their riverview rooms. My husband and I had lovely 3 nights there. And most importantly, their restaurant saved my life, when I couldn't stomach anything. I got sick and I went to Maun Private Hospital midnight. The Boma restaurant prepared soft sorgum porridge and potatoe soup for me at 5 am in the morning. I will always be grateful 🙏.

::Perfect location in Maun, very close to Maun Mall and 10 min from airport. Boma Restaurant well laid out, good meal options with reasonably priced daily specials. Chalet a little overpriced but quire, which was great. Pool decent size and very clean. Ample off street parking

::Our experience at Maun Lodge was okay. The hotel itself is pleasant, though the furnishings are outdated. It is clean and feels comfortable overall. The rooms are a bit dark but well equipped for a brief stay. We had lunch, dinner, and breakfast at the lodge, and unfortunately, none of the meals were enjoyable. Service was slow, and our dinner waitress seemed uninterested. Food was underwhelming. I would not recommend eating here if avoidable. Breakfast was particularly poor. There were flies landing on uncovered food, and large spiders in the room, which made it difficult to relax while dining. The food lacked flavour, the selection was limited, and we were charged 15 USD per person for a buffet that we had assumed was included, as our names were checked off a list on arrival. The price was completely unreasonable given the quality and location. I also had a massage during our stay, which was one of the most unpleasant I’ve experienced. The masseuse did not ask about any preferences or give any explanation before starting. The treatment was rather painful, with no communication or adjustment throughout. It was overall a very uncomfortable experience.

::Stayed here for one night during a tour. Nice room, spacious, clean, quiet, with everything you need. Nice restaurant, partly open and partly covered, with really good (also vegetarian) food and good service. Altogether a great experience, thank you!
